The Red Egg Rebirth is a beautiful way to welcome the energies of the season of glorious Spring. Buy a carton of eggs and smuggle it into your home without letting anyone else see them (once they leave the grocer). Boil one egg. In the palm of your hand, with your middle finger only, mix 1 teaspoon paprika with drops of dark rum equal to your age plus one. Over a paper napkin, roll the egg in the palm of your hand covering it with the mix. Bits will drop onto the napkin. Once covered, place the egg on a paper napkin. No rub both palms together until they are dry as you visualize bad luck leaving your body, mind, soul, spirit, aura and space/home/office. Carry the egg outdoors and crack it slightly so you can begin to peel the shell off. Visualize your bad luck leaving as you shell the egg, like how a snake sheds its skin. Be sure to keep the peeled shell in a paper bag or in your paper napkin. Eat just a small part of both the yoke and the white before throwing pieces of the rest of the egg in all four of the cardinal directions. Again, your intention is to throw away all of your negative energies, perceptions, hurts, and sadness. Once you release the old ways of perception, stumbling blocks, anger, sadness, and/or sensitivities you want to open up your heart in order to welcome the space to allow great new possibilities to take their place. Close the bag/napkin with the old shells tightly and throw the rest away. Welcome the beauty into your space, your life and your mind, body, soul, spirit, and aura.
