Go for the obvious by adding things made of earth, things that are shaped like earth (squares), and things colored like earth (earth tones like yellows, oranges, dusty mauves, browns, beiges (even blue and pink). Then go beyond the norm and think square boxes under the tree, handmade clay ornaments, heavy objects, pillows and throws that are square AND earth toned, and rocks (does someone on your list need a sack of coal?
