Fibonacci Day celebrates using numbers in what has become known as the Fibonacci Sequence; a pattern of counting where each number is the sum of the previous two numbers, i.e. 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, . . . My 3D Design instructor in college insisted we mimic nature and use these tools to achieve the same aesthetic in our projects. It was the first time I understood how math related to the world. It helped me see the world through new eyes and for that, I am so grateful. It has taught me to use Feng Shui to see life, interactions, reactions, and experiences through new eyes. One way I do this is by looking at the impact my belongings have on my life. Everything I own has an affect of me. Think of each object you own, be it clothes, shoes, pots, pans, knick-knacks, pictures, or books as items with weight. How do those things pull on you? How do they push you up? Now image the life you want to be living – do those objects pull you down of push you up to achieve that life? Be honest. Well? There ya go. Start the de-cluttering to rid yourself of anything not moving you forward. Who knew looking at the world through new eyes could tie in art, math and Feng Shui? Love and Light!
