Hobbit Day is celebrated today as it’s the birthday of the two most famous of Tolkien’s characters, Bilbo and Frodo (as a part of Tolkien Week). How magical is it to have a whole week dedicated to you for simply opening up the perception of the whole human race? For me, that’s what Tolkien did, open minds to see humanity — not a race, color, nationality, or gender. And what an amazing thing to celebrate. The power of moving forward together. For all the little parts we play. For getting each other through obstacles, doubts, and fears. What a lesson to be learned from the stories Tolkien shared from the world of Hobbits. One of my favorite quotes by J.R.R. Tolkien is, “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us”. Now THAT’S Feng Shui. Here’s a blessing to do WONDER-filled things with that time given to you. Om Mani Padme Hum or the 6 True Words (syllables). Om is the connection to the Universe. Mani is the connection to the Greater Good. Padme is to lift up your earthly being to your highest possibility. Hum is a resounding of EVERYthing; God, the Universe, Creation. Love and Light!
