School Time Feng Shui

Want more Back to School Feng Shui? OK. Look at where homework is being done. Does the space support the action being taken by the student? Like does it promote concentrating on the task at hand? Is the study space located away from distractions? Homework will go more smoothly if there are fewer distractions. We all know it’s hard enough to get homework completed on it’s own merits but add in a window for day dreaming and you can forget about it! To help achieve a quiet, distraction-free zone, keep play spaces and work spaces separated. This will help shorten the time it takes to do homework and put your child on the path to building better grades. Also, focusing on one task at a time clears the ‘noise’ of multi-tasking – something kids should never be asked to do when it’s homework time. Keep it basic, simple and hold those children in Love and Light!
