In Feng Shui, fear is associated with the water element, along with the concept of play. Here’s a quick and easy way to calm a fearful mind. Touch your pinky finger to your thumb and hold in place while taking 9 deep breaths in and exhaling. Think back to a time of play, when you were at ease. Keep breathing. Think playful and positive insights. Hopscotch, running in the sunlight, drinking from the water-hose. Your pinky is the finger associated with the water element while your thumb is the grounding element of earth.
