The Winter Message

It’s finally winter!!! Yesterday’s Solstice reminded us we are all one as we experienced the start of winter at the same instant all around the whole planet. But what if the wholeness and wonder of being one is NOT making it’s way to your home? Then try this Feng Shui advice. Instead of sharing what should be changed about a loved one, think of HOW that loved one would best receive your advice. We all know how to best reach ourselves. A song, a dance, a hug – WE are so easy to approach (HA-HA). But reaching out to Aunt Jane is not always so easy as she takes things so differently than we easy, breezy songbirds. Think of how Aunt Jane best receives news and who she admires most. Should you drop hints so she thinks it’s her idea? Do you need to slip a self-help book into her purse because she loves to read? Or should you start the conversation with “Oprah says . . .” in order to get her attention? The message is the second most important part of communicating. Learning how to reach out to a specific person in the way they understand the message is always the first step to making contact. Love and Light!
