Libra’s birthstone is the mysterious and beautiful Opal. And, as we noted in an earlier post, is a hydrated amorphous form of silica with a water content ranging from 3 to 21%. A stone made of water. So I had to focus a little more on this amazing stone. The other amazing thing about Opal is that it diffracts light imparting the quality of both absorbing and reflecting light. It’s all about the duality of the scales for Librans; opals give and take – literally. With this said, opals are believed to impart opportunities for growth and transformation. And as we’ve learned over the past few posts, once we have growth, we have confidence and self-love. And since opals amplify emotions, be sure to send out only love and light when wearing the jewel so you only receive love and light in return.
