The first Friday of April is National Walk to Work Day. What a great way to get some exercise in while making the world a little greener! And that will be a central theme this month – what with Earth Day coming up on the 22nd. So what are some Feng Shui ways to save the planet? A central theme in Feng Shui is to reduce, reuse, and recycle – with the intention of releasing the chi energy you’ve imparted on the object before passing it along to be reused. We call it ‘predecessor energy’ in Feng Shui. “How do we do that, Angela?”, you may be asking. Simply place the love in the object you are donating/re-using/recycling/returning – think of how the object has assisted you. Was it a chair? Did it support you and your behind? Was it comfy? Did it match your sofa. It had to do SOMEthing good. So tell it. Then ask it to be the best chair it can be for the next person. Now use some sage, incense, water, salt, poem, or favorite verse to give the object a new sense of self and set it free on the world to fulfill it’s greatest good.
