Today is my childhood friend, Cathy’s, birthday. AND the beginning of one of the most spectacular reasons fall ROCKS. The Leonids meteor showers are here!!!! For the next week, we can view the meteor shower associated with the comet Tempel-Tuttle and have a little bit more to be grateful for. And what girl isn’t grateful for a shooting star to wish upon with a friend so faithful as you, Cathy? You have been a mentor, shoulder, teacher, and inspiration to me my whole life. More than anything, you have been my confidant, my support, and my light. A meteor shower to wish upon, a friendship that has lasted the test of time, and a lifetime of sharing, building, loving, and hoping with my sister-friend. Now that’s a good reason to LOVE the fall!
