The fall is all about the Metal Element: round objects, things made of metals, metallic tones/white/grey. Use these things to layer your Metal guas (the middle right of the home AND the front right) known as the Creativity and Children gua and the Helpful People Gua, respectively. Woo-hoo, it’s nice to know we have double the space in our homes to use Metal. And at this time of the year, how great is that?!? With visitors coming ‘round starting in October to the beginning of next year, ‘harvest-time’ is the perfect time to bump up the energy of Metal. Feng Shui calls Metal the ‘get it done’ guas. Why? Think of the practical when you look at Feng Shui actions. Metal can help you reconnect to a child-like energy, to be more flexible, to breathe deeply (the lungs are the Yin organ), the feeling you can accomplish anything, and the happiness you get when you make sure your surroundings shine (we actually move things around in our homes and bring out seasonal decor staring in the Fall).
